ambiet air sensor placement

Where should i put my ambient air temp sensor in the charge pipe? also where does the amb air stock sender go if i have a intercooler? in the charge pipe right? will it not come out as i know its not threaded.

Shifted

It should be placed within 12" of the throttle body. Some even have it in the intake manifold. You definitely want it on the cool side of the intercooler though.

Get a threaded IAT sensor. You want it in the cold pipe between the intercooler and the throttlebody.

Easy as pie.
