Simply put HPT just recorded a kpa of 142 on my car. That is 20.6psi. I don't see any way my setup could produce that. All my boost gauge ever shows is 5psi. Out side airtemp was in the 60's F.
My setup is GM charger with stock crank pulley and 2.5 sc pulley. I have heard of the sc spiking with but I thought that was only 2-3psi

No. 142 KPA IS 24.36, now you have to subtract your 14.5 from it. so your charger pressure is 9.86 or so...... with your ECM, 100 KPA is atmospheric ambient pressure.

According to hpt 142kpa is 20.60.
Anyway....umm thanks. I feel super stupid right about now. I knew I needed to subtract atmosperic pressure but I completly forgot about that.

Try 6.1psi You take the 20.60 and subtract atmosphere which is 14.5 so that leaves you with 6.1

You better try that again Chris. I also used that exact converter last night right before I made this post. Type in 142 in kpa box and then click purple field you will get 20.59535875768971
