need a tune

well so far on my eco i have the following things done to the motor 421 header full 2.5 inch piping cat delete magnaflow muffler intake a/c delete rk sport crank pulley and i just recently installed the comp stg 1 cams a few weeks ago and i know enough at this point a good tune would not hurt and the car would perform alot better with a tune.i live in san antonio was woundering if there was anyone that lived in the area or even in houston that could help me out in tuning it. i hace one problen though just recently i tried hooking up a code scanner to my port and nothing happend doesnt even turn on so i dont even think it works so my guess is a would have to re do the wiring harness to fix this problem. another thing that is funny is every light on my dash is on even the check engine light but the car runs fine, well after i put in the cams no check engine light is on at all since the install.lol wierd the car maked a wierd sound like if the chain is rubbing against something but its only after i get up to 2500 rpm the once it goes below that no noise my gues is the chain tensioner needs to be replaced.any advice or comments welcome. just for yalls info the eco swap was done already when i got the car all modifications were done by me though it was stock when i got it so dont flame me on how im an idiot for not doing the swap correctly.i want to fix all these problems but have not had the time, fixed some since i got it but not all trying to do as much as i can when i can.thanks

You need to worry about whty your data port is not working and why you have all those lights on before worring about tuning. Your dat port could be because of a blown fuse (I think power mirror fuse, or cig lighter fuse).

ya i dont have power mirrors so its not that and the cigarrete lighter works so its not the fuses i think its just because alt of stuff was probably left disconnected and now i have to figure out what, which is the hard part.theres wires going to the port guess ill just have to follow them when i have the time to to try and figure it out.

did you set your tensioner correctly when you reinstalled it after the cam swap?

There is a DLC fuse, check that.

Also, before attempting tuning, you HAVE to get the mechanical and electrical issues fixed first. I wouldn't touch your car until it was running mechanically and electrically correct. Otherwise you are tuning around issues, and when you do finally fix those issues, the tune will create new ones that aren't so easy to diagnose.
