Hello all

I had my car tuned by Chris (Sweetness)

We got pressed for time and i didnt wanna open it up to much due to lots of PoPo presence

After tuning last year i went to my first bracket race

My car would hit the rev limiter at the top of 1st and 2nd gears and not shift

HP Tuners will be here soon and i can get my file off

Any idea of where i would have to make corrections to resolve this shift issue?

If you have not joined the hp tuners forum you should. The ? has come up on there recently. I will see if I can post a link to it. The search function works pretty well and will give you tons of reading.

I would want to compare your tuned file to a stock file to see what was changed. Sounds like settings in the tranny need to be change (shift RPM and speed), but do not hold me to it.

Darren, glad to see you got your hands on HPT.

I can email you the files tonight so you can get a look at what I changed. I will also forward you the updated file I did for George's auto so you can compare the transmission tables and see what I did to fix this error on his tune. I based the start of your tune off of his and went from there...

I then used yours back into his car and drove the HELL out of the car and fixed the issue after about 2 hours of driving.

I REALLY wish you'd gone WOT for me that day but I can understand you didn't wanna get tagged with a ticket.

I know that Skillz had this issue and Protomec got it fixed for him.

Just let me know what email you want the files sent to and we'll go from there bud!
