Im looking at buying HP Tuners used

Noticed it was VCM Suite Pro 2.112

They are currently selling 2.2.0

If i was to buy this used can i upgrade to the newest version of the software free so i would be running 2.2.0 ?

yes, the upgrade is free.

If you have access to the site, as the original owner of it does, yeas it is free.

Exactly. Should not be hard to get this access. You need the serial number from the HPT unit (which should be on the outside of the unit), and go in and change the password.

if you want to order it from a canadian distributor, Tazmic (or was it Tazmik?) in alberta is one of the like 2 canadian distributors of HPT in canada. main benefit is no duties and his shipping was really fast.

it is kinda tricky since you would need the origional owners password,and his serial number but shouldnt be a problem so long as that info is given to you upfront. There are the OLD HPT's that arent upgradable, but those dont support our platform at all, and dont use credits either. I saw one on E-bay go for like $50 since hardly anyone could use it...
