I have a 96 Z and am wanting to purchase HPT but know it only works on 97+. I did a quick search but dont think I was wording it right. Anyone have the link to the thread on how to pin for a 97?

I've seen the 3 plug. Does anyone know what the 3rd plug is for?
My 95 has 2 plugs and my 97 has 2 plugs, just different pinouts for the 97.
The 3 plugs on the 96 harness do the same thing as the 2 of them on the 97+. The difference is what is inside the box.
