The title says it all!!I want to learn about MEGA SQUIRT engine management systems. I will not be using it on my car as I have a Haltech, but I am going to buy one and see how well it does work. The only problem is, I don't know anything about it! I'm asking all megasquirt guys and gals to tell me something about this system. I've always gone to professional tuners and want to try to do something on my own! So let me hear it all!!!
Its all pretty much on the MS site......you want the new MS2Extra code. The biggest problem you're gonna have is ignition, either stick with DIS and the ICM or go full EDIS 36-1 trigger wheel and pickup on the crank pulley and do away with all the BS with the ICM. You will need to think about how to rig up a CPS if you want to go COP or SEFI, otherwise it will be DIS and Batch fire on the injectors which is ok too.
