has anyone used the Apexi SAFCII or NEO piggy back on a 2003 ecotec cavalier?? I have read a lot about the HP Tuners, and was wondering if the ecotecs can run on an Apexi..

Why would they sell it then for the cavalier? Jet make one too and it wires up the same way and works in the same manner as the Apexi. I do not understand unless someone on here has hooked one up and tried it and it did not work. thats what i am trying to find out.

The SAFC is not made ofr any one car, but made in general. It can be used at the woners risk on any car they wish to put it on. Thing is the way it modify's thing will not work for our cars. Yes it has been tried.

Too bad the technology has changed old timer.. I seriously doubt you would kick my @ss anywhere... My car is slow compared to others I have built and sold in the past... There is no argument over who is smarter.. WE all already know you are a dumb@ss based on all your posts.... Also, I am a fully grown man and am always game for a good ol' fashion @ss whoopin! I walked on this forum about two or three years ago, built and boosted my car, and now I am tuning my car myself with HPT. I have no certifications, no GM anything. An engineering degree (yes), hands on experience, this forum, some research, and the will desire to tune it. Over the weekend I dropped in my 55 lb injectors and went tuning away HPT style with 10lbs of boost and can't wait to add another 5 before settling for some time on a dyno to prove it. If you could see my smile you would know it's true - the old 8 valve LN2 is sick.

Whoever told you they won't work, is probably an idiot that has never seen, installed, or used an S-AFC or S-AFC2 on any car, much less a j-body. Also works when used with an FMU. (I have larger injectors and FMU also)
Both models will work just fine on your car. On the dyno I gained 20hp @the wheels with my S-AFC. Listen to the people with experience, not the newbies.
