So I have been tuning my car with my HPTuners, and I am getting it a little closer to where I like it, but I have a couple questions. I was playing with the power enrich feature to get some more fuel which worked, but I can't really go too much higher, and at WOT I am getting about 14.0-14.5 on my wideband gauge. Is this too lean, or just right? I am only running 320cc injectors with 8psi, and I am thinking I should probably upgrade to some bigger injectors, which would help. Which size would recommend with 8-10psi? Also, I am about ready to adjust the timing, and I was just wondering how much should i start with? I was thinking just changing the higher RPM numbers by 1 degree. I this too much to start with? Thanks for any info. and answers!!!
stop going wot right now for your motors sack.. 14.6 is stoich.... wot you should be in the range of 11.4-11.8 depending on how safe and how much power you want to make. The way your going a few more wot pulls and you will be pulling your motor.
If you arent seeing knock you are fine....I highly doubt you are knock free at stoich. A/F ratio, but if you are congrats...you are fine.
The reason you richen it up is to reduce the risk of knock. If you are tuned THAT good that you have no knock, you just need a pat on the back, and I just need a copy of that tune....
We need more info, a data log or something to see whats going on before we could really help you.

thats not entirely true. dialing in your AFR in PE will help you in maximizing the power output. maintaining a safe AFR will help to ensure your car puts out maximum power safely, rather than just once or twice before it goes boom.

^^^well put....
thanks for adding some clarity...
hum i always thought as far as getting more hp you want to go as lean as possible without any knock. i thought the reason your engine blows is from knock. Injecting in more gas just reduces knock but if you have zero then why would you richin it up. Just curious. However regardless of what mine is at i am at 12 to 10.8 afr. 10.8 being about 6000 rpms.
(agreeing with John Benham first post.)
