I have a 00 2.4 s/c'ed pcm in one car

I have an 01 that I am swapping the s/c into.

Can I simply swap the pcm into the 01with no adverse effects?

Or should I just take the 01 to the dealer and have them flash it?

OR should I ask aarouund for a local member with HPT to flash it?

It will be fine, just swap the PCM's.

cool thanks. no worries about passing emmisions with a different VIN in the PCM?

and would the factory stereo still work after swapping in the new PCM?

Emissions will still pass, radio will still work. I've done this about a dozen times in my personal car tuning other people's PCM's.

The 99-'s are a different story, but they would just need the theftlock reprogrammed.
