Cam position sensor and cam sync generator
Wednesday, October 17, 2007 7:22 PM
I have my LD9 setup with a GM s/c running 8lbs of boost, p/p head with HO cams, 62mm throttle body, and some other mods. I am planning on using HPT but I have no cam signal (HO cams). Will the cam sync gererator help with this setup or not. I have heard it will. Any help would be apprciated.

ya on older quads they dont have the single fire mode, and they run fine. they run batch fire all the time, they dont have the cps on the cam or a sensor to pick it up. u will just need to tune for it, so everything works correctly. i just havnt got around to all this yet to get my stuff goin, i need to get those cams in my motor like asap

if you want to run sfi mode, just pickup an MSD cam sync generator. I've used it and it works great

I was thinking of getting the cam sync generator. Should I get a wide band 02 sensor and where would I get it from?
