Tunish on 10ish...Eco Update

Well got it half tuned today. I think I am going to end up keeping the FMU on for now. I know it is possible to achieve good AFR's without the thing, however it is working pretty good so far. I'm not sure what ratio I'll end up at but I'll keep trying until I get it right. It's still leaning out in high RPMs now.

I did get to make 10 psi down low though. Oh man...it's like I just got my turbo all over again.

I also put my high dollar Ebay catback exhaust on today. To my suprise it sounds, looks, and fits good. It's surely good quality stainless and for $200 at my door step I can't complain. I figured worst of I would be buying the piece of mandrel bent stainless 2 1/2" pipe.

So that's it for now. More tuning needs to come. If I can manage to get it tuned in the next couple weeks I will go dyno it because I want to know where I'm at with all my time and money. Thanks to those who have helped with my questions!

Just a reminder... don't tune too aggressively. Weather... temp, humidity, Baro all play a part on how the FMU works... on a really hot day your fmu could let you go lean. Keep an eye on your AFR gauge and you should be fine. Also altitude plays a part... But if you know how to tune then you should know enough if something is going wrong before it is too late.
