i built my LD9 like a lot of u have done but i cant buy the turbo kit til next year cause i just bought a house. So i need it run run good the way it is. my ? is, do i need to buy injectors now, install the fuel pump and AFPR, or tune it to run good? And if i do need injectors, what size do i get? i know ill need them later anyways. here is what i have so far.

I would drive it on the stock ecu with the stock components. Really shouldn't be too too different. Im running my car n/a with the stuff you listed and more with no problems. But it's just gonna be a dog down low with that cr and thick hg

would tuning be a waste of time and money or would it help with anything? someone here said you can tune a bone stock engine and have gains. im not wanting to get alot of power out of it yet, i just really want it to run perfect and be reliable right now cause i am not sure when i will boost.
Do you actually have all the parts you mentioned or are you planning on getting them? I'm asking because, if you have a 62mm throttlebody and youv'e lowered your compression with pistons and a thicker headgasket, you WOULD benefit from tuning right now. Not necessarily with performance, but you may see an improvement in drivability by tuning.
What are you planning to buy to tune your car? HPT, Megasquirt, EFI live, or.......Whatever you choose, buy it NOW and get used to the software. It takes awhile to get good a tuning.
Also, I have HPT and 750cc injectors, my car runs perfect, TUNED.
i have all these parts ready to go, im just waiting for my engine to come back from the shop (hopefully this week). i just dont plan on putting on fuel pump or AFPR on til i get injectors. i was going to wait til i got the turbo kit unless i need to get them now then i will buy them. And ill get HPT asap so i can get the hang of it. thanks
