Non-Rising Rate FPR?

Is the stock Fuel Pressure Regulator non-rising rate or does it register a 1:1 rise?

I know my Aeromotive is a 1:1. Electromotive (Tec3) requires a non-rising rate so the fuel pressure stays set even under boost.

1:1 = non-rising rate.

The stock is 1:1. The purpose for it is to keep the pressure delta (difference) between the inlet and the outlet of the injector the same so that XXms (same pulsewidth) of injector time always flows the same amount of fuel no matter what the intake pressure is.

Rising rate = 2:1+ . As pressure increases, a rising rate regulator increases the pressure delta across the injector in order to flow more fuel as intake pressure goes up with the same pulsewidth.

If you honestly don't want it to raise or lower, just disconnect it.

But protomec is right.

O noes!
