ron,
you know no one looks in those.

kikinz24, the differences are fairly simple from what i understand and have read. the regular version allows for any and all tuning to be done. the pro allows a 5V device to be attached through a seperate interface. this allows you to read from a wideband O2 sensor, allowing you to figure out exactly what results of changes you have made have done.

other then that, not a whole lot of difference.

well i have a aem eugo wideband and i was just going to adjust from dynoing. and i have a good enough idea of what a/f i should be running boosted . so i think im going to jus get the regular version.

You will want the pro. You can't Data log with out it. That is why you bought the wide band correct?

I have the Pro version. Love it. I can not say for sure if you can or can not datalog with the regular version, but I would think you could as long as you have the laptop in the car. With the Pro version you can datalog without having a laptop in the car. Then go home download the info and look at it, as well as pull in other sensor's/gauges in. Like Wideband. I can say if you are only going to tune on a dyno the regular version would probably be fine, as well if you have someone to sit and watch the laptop while making a pull. For someone who is doing there own tuning by themselves the Pro allows you to go out drive and then go back and look at what the car was doing during that drive. SO nice!!!

well see heres my thing. i will take my laptop to the track with me. and i kinda dont have all the money for the pro. i bought a house this year and it kinda killed my bank account pretty bad. so im trying to pay on a house and all my extras and still mod my car. makes it kinda hard to do both. ive been pulling side jobs changing head gaskets, motors and trans's for money so i can buy food lol . for some reason the house and car come before me eating i should be pretty small by summer . does anybody know if you can datal log with the regular version if i use it right at the reack with the laptop hooked up? if so i would apprecaite the help.

You can datalog with the regular version, but the biggest problem is not being able to get wideband data for accurate a/f ratio measurements. You can get a "decent" tune with the regular version, but its a LOT harder, takes a LOT more time, and is a PITA. The pro version allows you to connect in a wideband for accurate a/f measurements and a LOT easier time tuning.
