only 1038? i thought this was supposed to be a powerful street car. not impressed. for such a big company lingenfelter is behind the times... there were little guys making hundreds of horsies more than that years ago in daily driven street cars, and embarrassing lingenfelter at the strip.

hell if i wanted to see this dyno i would only drive 10mins to see it because lingenefelter is in decatur indiana

1000hp of the 1970-80s is the 700-800hp of today........cars are extremely lighter, engines are more advanced, most engines have a longer rpm span, etc. There's no way you can compare hot-rodders in the past to something like this now. If it was in the ballpark of being true wouldn't you think lingenfelter or the rest of the world wouldn't be that interested in it?

yes i'm serious. sure its nice, but i'm talking context here, its not that extreme. its like a supra dyno queen putting down 800whp. its been done and is nothing new... sure its nice, but its just not mind boggling like it used to be.

yes its a nice car. but really now.. its going to run high 8's to mid 9's depending on how the suspension is set up.
3,4,5 years ago there were 7 and 8 second daily driven vettes around making 350 more hp. full weight daily driven, grocery getting, subwoofer pounding, street cars. driven thousands of miles to the track.. putting down the times... and driven thousands of miles home.
so ya, i'm not too impressed with lingenfelter this time.. he's been shown the way (and the taillights) and can't compete still.

but dont get me wrong, i still love the car.

i just know another shop that i would have build mine

1except, its not a dyno queen douche, its a streetable car

2 he is dead dumbass
3that includes install and a limited edition car you are talking about randoms shops that do maybe 3 corvettes like that
this is more mass produced and mantians is reliability

id like to see some of these 8second streetable cars
which of course have to have a roll cage
