Damn thats beautiful.
Theres a pagani zonda in Michigan?? I was never even sure if they were availale without importing or something. My dream was to get rich, buy a zonda, and drive around michigan smoking $100 bills. If theres another one in Michigan though you just ruined my dream.
Seriously.....
I have seen like 5 or 6 diff. over here in columbus ohio. Mainly young asian kids
but they are nice. I got a chance to ride in one the other night actually. i was drunk and at taco bell, and there was one there. I started talkin to him, and he took me for a spin.
Overall it is a kickass car for the price.
State Troopers on my @$$, HAHA
Lets see em catch 160 on the dash....

If they didn't come in kit form they would proabably cost double that. They avoid federal auto importing regs by being sold as a kitcar, all you have to do is supply the Vette motor and I think Porsche tranny and you'll have a helluva sportscar.
A vette motor would overpower the car... and add a nasty rear-ward bias. Not sure about the Porsche transmission.
Believe it or not, they recommend a 3.x litre twin turbo ford engine (IIRC it's V6 that was in the Merc. Cougar). It's also NOT a kit car... it's called Rolling stock... big difference.
The Noble, basically, you outfit the interior (IIRC) and the engine/trans/EMU, and GO. There were a lot of cars offered like this out of Britain in the 60's.

I saw one of those on the road down here in Myrtle Beach... it was cruising down 31 and a passed it rather fast not knowing what it was (the spoiler is huge). I saw it was a Noble and slowed down to see if he would gun it but no go. The guy just continued just a little above the limit
I was near him for most of my commute, the thing was definately a head-turner!
Yeah.. when I first saw it I thought it was a Fiero rebody, but no... it's WAY better!
There was one in Toronto @ Mosport for a few days while they were shooting a segment for a car tv show...

tkae off the wing and it would look 100x better imo. I'd still take one though.
one guy wrote c&d or motortrend i dont remember
he said he hated the car
felt like it was falling apart around him
and it was underpowered
other cars, better cars?
Probably got one that was JUST completed... You do have to dial in the chassis/suspension etc, not that I take what an automotive journalist has to say about anything as gospel, good or bad.

It's there for a purpose... the back-end gets squirrelly without it, from what I've read.

Not neccessarily GAM, Last year Popular Hot Rodding did a story on one with a vette engine in it and it handled quite well pulling 1.0 g or better in the twisties on a road course. Rolling Stock, Kit Car whatever you still have to put some stuff together to make it run.
I didn't read that... I remember reading something in PHR about another mid-engined car (not a Noble... Ultima GTR), and it used an LS1, but somehow I remember seeing the Noble and an engineer that had said a 6 would give better weight distribution, and that the engine bay is a little small for a small block V8 and tranny. I also remember specifically the designers in Kit Car Magazine saying that the Ford v6TT (forget the displacement) was the ideal choice because the car was so light, more HP would have caused serious traction and oversteer issues.
Also, Rolling stock cars don't require near as much assembly or fabrication as a kit car.. I've worked on a kit car (in HS, the car had been a project for about 4 years and still wasn't finished) and a buddy of mine has a Lotus Caterham 7 clone that arrived as a rolling chassis, all he had to do was quite literally drop the engine in and get it wired (he said it took him a weekend).

crap D'oh your right GAM I was thinking of the Ultima GTR lol. I wonder if you coud shoehorn a GNX v6 in there, some of them guys are running close to 1000 hp with a boost of nitous.
