so yea i woke up today and my mom told me my grandfather is selling his truck... she asked me if i wanted it and i was like uhhh yea but i thought about it and its a 2001 chevy silverado and its got higher milage then my car 60 thousand something but has been well maintained. so I thought to myself cause I havent been as happy with my car as i orginally thought i would be back when i first got it. I wonder if i could get a different car and sell mine. Ive been thinkin about a srt 4 probably a 2004 in either red, blue, or black.... my question is what would you say if you were in my shoes. I love my car dont get me wrong. ive spent how much on stereo, header back exhaust, short throw and plenty other lil things for it. plus i have a extended warrenty on my car 100k 4 year warrenty from when i bought it.. what would you do keep the car and just deal with it or sell it and get something that you would rather have?

Well if you can swing a larger payment I'd say get rid of the cav. The only thing wrong with getting rid of a modified car is the resale is going to drop, which isn't very high to begin with for j-bodys. If you're thinking about something else, go for it, you can't be that happy with the cav.
if the mods are tasteful the resale should be the sameish

well im still putting thought into it....... thinking about just tryin to get a loan to maybe make my car a lil more like my style... idk yet its a tough call on what to do. Yea I like my cav and everything but theres just so much better out there.... well either way I know what the trade in value of my car is right now so its making my decision a lil tuffer since i would like to get a lil more for it.

O yea i cant take the truck anymore since its been traded in for a dodge durango hemi. pretty awsome SUV i think.. navigation, great factory system, dvd player with wireless headsets... lot of crap on it

well I thought it over... gonna keep my car for a while invest into it make it into something i can enjoy. who knows what will happen from there... oh yea im getting my header installed on wednesday so there will be pics up after i get my car back of the few things ive gotten done so far
