It is a 05 Audi TT 3.2...had 6k miles on the car...the guy hit a man hole in Washington D.C...hit the oil pan...
Bent the subframe...broke the tranny...
going to be a 25k$ job...
sucks to be him, and its not covered by warranty...

His insurance will cover it but the city\state depending on who owns the road should cover the damages if it was a raised manhole cover..
Wow, must have been a bus grate, I can't see a manhole doing that to a car. The manhole would have been vertical or something for that to happen.
