Not too bad looking. I'm not crazy about the headlights and the front area, but the interior looks real nice.

I am thinking the same way. I really dig the interior. The gauges remind me of the way my mom's '03 Civic is set up.

I have a strong feeling that is very close to being true. If not, well thats just too bad because it looks great.

It is true. If you need proof, take a look back at past Saturn press releases, that say they are going with Opel styling, then take a look at the new Opel Astra:
