hey guys i just want to know if talon and ecplise headlights are the same? i know the tails arent but the headlights? reason i ask is because a friend of mine has a talon and wants to buy projectors, but they all say theyre made for eclipse. whhat about hoods and body kits? will they bolt up, i dont think the rear will, but front and sides? thanks
Talons/Eclipses had the same headlights for 95-96. After that, the eclipse got newer styled headlights to compliment the new bumpers.

what about talons, did their headlights change also from 97-99? or are talon lights the same from 95-99? so eclipse go like this , 95/96: style #1, 97-99:style #2
i dont know if thats too clear, but let me restate it this way, what i want to know is if 95/96 eclipse projectors will work on a 97 and up talon?
I thought they stopped making Talons in 97+ Anyways...if i'm wrong then yes they are different. You will need to convert it. Just like the headlights on a J pre 2000 need the bumper, hood, fenders, and lights. Of course you can modify them to work i'm sure.
Talons stopped in 98. Same headlights as the 95-96s though. Granted they had slightly different bumpers. Eclipse body kits after 96 will require 97-99 headlights.

the projectors wont look right.. there will be a gap from the bumper.. u would have to get a newer eclipse front clip..
would i need everything including hood,fenders and bumper? or can i just get the bumper and it will fit?

Okay to sum it up.
Headlights are exactly the same and dont need any changes at all to fit each other.
--95-96 eclipse
--95-98 talon
The only 2g dsm to not use the above headlights.
--97-99 eclipse
The 97-99 headlights are slightly different however the hood and fenders are 100% the same. The only difference is you would need a 97-99 eclipse front bumper. I personally think the 97-99 headlights look alot better and if I was getting projectors I would do the 97-99 bumper at the same time. Also get the stock projectors that are black in the backgound or aftermarket black projectors as the chrome ones look gay as hell.
