well, my buddy has an evo lol, and hes dropping like 2500 into the motor, plus 3 hours on the dyno doing some tuning. its about a 2 hour drive for us, im driving half there and half back. cant freakin wait to drive it once all that stuff is done. gonna be nice guys.
haha, something funny to say too.........we raced, or tried to last night. haha, he just got his cel flashed and forgot about it. used to rev to 5300rpms and hold there, now with it gone it revved back to 7300, and he forgot. so he tells me to go first, ok, so i go and he launches and burns the clutch pretty bad lol. YAY!! I BEAT AN EVO!!!! lol. i dunno tho, his car seems to pull a little less than mine, but its prolly just the susension or something eh?

I just finished reading a post about some of the guys that dropped their cars off w/ Al and Dave (tuning and installing) and they were very impressed. I go today to get my Evo dyno'd.

BUT, with only intake and 3" exhaust they got it back up to 246hp and 248 tq, but it sure as hell doesnt feel like it tho. we raced a gsx with about 300whp and stayed with him on a 40 roll , then he took us by about a car on a 20 roll. not bad eh?

they screwed up there first dyno, guarantee it, theres NO way that right, for one theres no way that evos only got 170 horse, and 176 lbs of torque, and second, theres no way they got 76 horse and 72 lbs torque outta a exhaust and intake, i mean i know evos react well to mods, but c'mon....
nah, he had a cel the day b4, and they did 3 pulls with it at about 170hp. trust me, i kept up with him in my cavi lol. BUT its on a mustang dyno, so really it was around 2something, then somewhere around 290 maybe 3something with tuning. and he has the turboxs utec lol. they said it was a peice of crap, but he got it tuned lol.

290 seems pretty high for an Evo w/ his mods. See if you can dig up his dyno sheet and mod list for us.

Mustang Dyno's are typically 30% lower than a DynoJet.
nice number on the Evo. Ive been down to Buschur racing.....they do some crazy stuff with Evo's there. I'll try to find and post the pic of the white Evo with the Gigantic turbo
