Whats a Cavalier?
Maybe if you compare a slalom done by one source or day compared to another course or day. Its best to compare cars when there done heads up by the same place on the same day to take out the discrepancies.
Heres motortrends slalom for their performance shootout with the vette.
What kinda slalom numbers for the cobalt do we have? I've seen some high 69.x. So maybe theres some low 70's floating around and somebody compared them to a corvette number done by a whole different source and came to that incorrect conclusion?
I remember it and it wasn't going up against the Z-06 just the regular Vette. I think it was Car & Driver or one of those mags that made the claim. It supposedly can out slolum a Vette and has the same grip numbers in that lateral grip test. ( ? ) Its 60-0
numbers are the same as a Lamborgini Galardo, and it can out run a Subaru wrx ( not
the sti just the reg. one )
Disclaimer: None of these claims are made by ME so please if you feel the over whelming need to flame make sure its against the mags and not me as I am not the one doing the tests.

fwd performance biased cars generally outperform rwd and awd cars in slalom tests.
most recent performance fwd cars hit over 70mph, some around 72mph in slalom tests.
