I was down in Bloomington, IL yesterday visiting my girlfriend at ISU when I ended up at a stoplight next a new body style Mustang. An older couple was riding it in, and it looked to have a different front bumper than a stock GT, and also had a decal behind each of the front wheels that said G.T. 350. He wasn't in the racing mood (
), so I let him go ahead of me. That's when I saw the litle Cobra emblem on the back, and noticed that the back bumper was also different than a stock GT.
Now I know that Ford is planning on making a new Cobra, but I am almost positive it is not out yet... Did this guy just have a bunch of stuff stuck on his GT to try and make it look like a Cobra?

the cobra doesnt exist anymore. it's the GT500 now, from what i've heard. the cobra is a shelby race car, not a mustang. that always kinda frustraited me. but hey, what color was it? the guy i posted about blowing up his new GT had GT350 on it. it was an off white cream color with red stripes. actually a good lookin car. he might've put new bumpers on it, and it wouldnt surprise me if it's already fixed.

They are releasing the Cobra GT500 next year...'04 was the last year a real "cobra" was produced. Im not a Ford fan..but i've been waiting to see this new car...it was supposed to come out this year....but you know how that goes

it'll be worth the wait. the '03 and '04 were great cars. im not a big ford fan either, but the more im around them, the more i like them. the '05 will be even better. cant wait to see/ride in one. are they calling it the Cobra GT500, or just the GT500?

what ever happened to the Mach 1 or the Boss?
there's a later mustang with the word boss on the side (a silver one) runnin around town here. looks like an 04 model (or similar). How much HP is the boss pushin?
^^I don't think there was a Boss edition of the last generation Mustang. It was probably just decals like the one I was describing. If it was an '04, I'm guessing it was the 260hp GT.

Yea no boss, the new 05 models had some boss concepts but nothing in production. And the only cobra svt is makin is the one in my sig. I have also seen some 05 gt's with some badging, its nothing, just guys wishing they had this car.......
as far as i know the cobra's will still be on the car , like the pic above
so its still a cobra
and out of all the mustangs the new bodies are the 1's i like the best
although it is still very hard to hate the mustang 2 cobra's , when 1 of charlie's angles is getting out of the car

yea but his 400 hp will get him alot better time slips then a goats. high 13's, u can do better and dont give me ur car is too heavy. The cobra is gonna dominate once it comes out, still wont be better than the new Z06 but should be a good car.

its just hard to lauch a irs car w/ 245 all season tires and georgia isn't the best place in the world to drag in the summer either
his 450 hp will come at a price tag to(gt500) of 10k more than my car
