OMG!!!!! better be, cause i would want to sell that thing after a week of driving it. so will he when he finds out first hand that its not a cobra killer.
LOL resale value.
< mediator >
The GTO is not a Cobra Killer ( unless you mean 1996 Mustang Cobra ), Th 03-04 S/C cobras are beastly to say the least.
However, Kyle.....The GTO being an LS2 is no slouch.
AND Taetsch Z24, WHY is a J-body owner bagging on someone about Resale Value. Ever hear the expression "Pot calling the kettle black"

i know the new gto's arnt slouches. ive test driven 2 of the, its fun to go sideways. but in no way is it a cobra killer, im just tired of this guy. first the cavalier was the best car EVER!!!! and now its a gto, yea they are nice, but in there class, they suck just like the cavalier.

I used to feel that way, too, but after having my Cavi which was black, I'll never have another black car again. Unless I can afford to have it professionally detailed every week. Just too much a pain in the butt. Worth it, though, if you're willing to put the effort into keeping it up.
Donna, nice ride! Hope you enjoy it.

That black looks really sexy on the cobalt. I'm starting to like them more and more everytime I see them. Just wish they were a little quicker.

Once again you prove yourself to be a complete idiot. How about you actually do some research before you go and post all that bull??
First of all, the 2005+ LS2 GTO's are a very good match for the 03-04 Mustang SVT Cobras. Both are RWD, 6-speed coupes. The Cobra has 390HP, while the GTO has 400HP. Both weigh within 60lbs of each other, with the Cobra at 3,665lbs and the GTO at 3,725lbs. So please explain how the GTO "sucks", I think the only person on here who "sucks" is
Kyle Kurtz, because he's one of the most ignorant people in this site.

LOL wow, just wow. for one, your a @!#$ magazine ricer so i should have expected this! and gm cant go wrong right?? lol
explain to me why VERY VERY VERY few gtos have hit 12.9's and i can go to the track at any given night and see multiple cobras do it?
have you heard of a little thing called gearing?
and stock form has no place in the performance wolrd anyway. put 1g into a cobra and 1g into a gto, thats were the gto sucks, you really need to keep out of conversations YOU have no clue about, you drive a 17 second cavalier, have probalbly never been in anything else, besides magazines, so stfu.

You are so quick to call everyone a magazine racer. Lets see, what a more accurate gauge of a cars performance: A professional driver, on a closed course, with multiple practice runs to get the best times - or some amateur at the track, who has no clue to to drive, and consequently runs a @!#$ty time. If you say the latter, then you are an idiot. But we already knew that.
Get this through your head: Nobody cares what you "saw at the track". Meaning zero people. Nobody. Because thats one personal experience, from one person, at one track. Not to mention you seem like the type who would BS numbers to coincide with your views.
Bottom line is with professional drivers, both cars will run high 12's easily. With good drivers, both cars will run in the low 13's. With crappy drivers (what you often seem to see) anything goes, no matter how ridiculous the numbers may be. It takes practice to get a good launch with RWD and IRS, and consequently most people can't step up to the line the first time and run their car to its maximum capability. Thats of course understandable, but then idiots like you see these people run and automatically assume thats all the car is capable of. Ignorance owns you.
I'm not even going to get started with all the "mod for mod" BS thats spewing from your ass, because anyone who knows anything about the LSx engines knows that you can get some serious power from a mere 1K in mods with those engines. Thats not saying the Cobra can't, but you make it sound like the Cobra will be so much more powerful than the GTO after mods, which is an exaggeration to say the least.
I'm also glad to hear that you think "I have no clue", because it just makes you look like even more of an idiot when I prove that you are wrong.

your right, ive seen about 30 amazing cobra drivers and probably 10 really @!#$ty gto drivers, thats why there mid 13's... NO!
and its funny, you think we should base these times on pro driver, when i dont think anyone who buys these cars are really pro drivers, we are seeing what the car can do fiwth an everday joe behind the wheel, afterall its still even isint it. and you are a magazine ricer.
