It's a 97 Olds Cutlass GLS. Not sure what the whole GLS part is, but oh well it's loaded with only 70K on her. Excuse the crappy pic, but it was a crappy day outside. Plus it's not that great so I didn't think too many of you would want a better pic lol.
Yes it's a granny car, infact the last owner was my grandma. She got a new 06 G6, and it was cheaper for her to buy it without trade in rather than trading in the Cutlass, plus they were only giving her 1500 trade in anyways soooooo, here the kicker, I got this car for the low price of FREE. Not too bad if ya ask me. A lot better than the 97 rusted, grey bumper 160K Cavalier I was drivin.....
Can't beat FREE. Congrats Man!
so thats like an olds version of the malibu or wut?
Id drive it, especially for that price. Awesome

they arent rare but i think GM killed the cutlass when they went to that style for it
damn, its in really good condition for a free car! i gotta find a grammy giving away a car
my magnaflow decal gives me 100 hp!
Yes, it's an olds version of the malibu. And actually it is quite rare, while the Olds themselves arn't rare, in 97 they only made this car half of the year, and mine is a GLS, which is like the Supreme, but they changed the name. A guy at the parts store told us to look under 98 to find parts for the car because there was nothing when looking for 97. He said they bearly made any of these in 97 and for it to be a GLS they really didn't make may.... Not that it's worth a lot, Kelly Blue Book has it for just around 6K for the miles and condition it's in, so I may try to sell it. I want my old Cavy (gas Saver) back......
Those are great cars! Well, at least mine was
I had a 97 and when I traded it in on my sunfire it had almost 200k on it. No problems at all.
I need a sig
Be careful she might report it stolen and screw you over. My grandma did the same thing and i barley managed to avoid jail time.

No, its a N body it has a 3.1 or 3.4. Later on Olds shanged thier N body platform in to the Alero

The W body cutlass Supreme has the optional 3.8.

Are you serious? Your grandma is a @!#$!
Rob
Sold 2/2/05
The W body Cutlass never came with a 3.8v6 option however it's replacement the Intrigue came standard with the 3.8L for a year and a half. Personally I'd keep it as a daily driver.
It's a 3.1 BTW Smarty Pants Paul..... Paul knows everthing about cars.... weeeeeeeeeeeee. I want to keep it as a DD, but I hate it. The seat hurts my back. It's like it has a lumbar thing that's all the way out, but it has no controles and both seats are the same, makes you sit with a goofy curve in your back. Not too comfy
So replace the seats in it? The car didn't cost you anything..
Red 2005 Saturn Ion-3 Coupe
