Sup everyone i own a Saturn Sc1 (1.9l sohc engine) and im looking for a not so hard swap iv heard that the Saturn Sc2(1.9l dohc engine) is an easy affordable swap anyone got any suggestions or information id love to hear it.

You can just do a "head swap" from SOHC to DOHC. You can check out SATURNSPEED for more information. This is a list of most of the stuff that you will need. When you have it apart you can do cams, P&P, and other stuff like that for more power.

If it's 91-94, the fuel pump is different.

Fuel filter is different from 91-97.

Spark plugs, accel. cable, crank pulley, & heater inlet hose are different.

91-94 have different water pumps.

00-02 different knock sensor, map sensor, evap emmision selonoid

Also, there are 2 different heads for the DOHC 91-98 & 99-02.
