with my current car I seem to have massive traction problems which it seems can be cured by drag radials.
I know the bolt pattern on the cobalt ss is a very odd one and not many aftermarket wheels are available in that size, I know the Redline comes with the 17s not sure if the bolt pattern is the same or not but at least this will work with the SS. The Ideal size for a drag radial is on a 16 inch rim which i have been unable to find an aftermarket rim for in the SS bolt pattern. It just so turns out that the spare tire happens to be on a 16 inch rim very similar in size to a Z24 wheel, only its a steelie
What im thinking is go to a dealer and order two of these, replace the tire with a slick and you got yourself a pair of 16 inch lightweight drag wheels instead of lugging those puny sidewall huge rim 17 or 18s

umm arnt the stealies really thin....yea so that wont work lol
not the ones i seen in a redline, looked like a z24 rim

Problem is, it's not a steelie, it's a compact spare. Meaning the tire is about 1/3 as wide as a normal tire.
hahahah thought u had traction problems with a normal rim and tire ahahahahah
those things are lik 4 inches wide, i spuns the tires in my pos sunbird when i punched it at 20 once with the spare on hahahahahaha

j/k
none of the rims from the redline or ss will fit our cavs , they are all 5 x 110
if you want 16's to fit our cars look into the VIBE or matrix , the 1 dave just bought has 205/55/16's just like ours do
^^^ he ment to put the redlines spare steelies on the cobalt as drag wheels...
