what size is a cobalt stock exhaust piping???

i realy need this information soon, if someone could help me, thankz.

Stock piping is 2 1/2 inches.

I mean 2 1/2 on the SS/SC, not sure about the standard model.

i thought the s/c was 2 1/4" and the base was the same as teh cav at 1 7/8"

call the local dealer and ask the tech im sure somebody knows or could go out an check..

i thought it was a 2", because the guy at crappy tire had a book that had exhuast sizes.. it said that a 03 cavalier was 2". So i bought the pipe. It wasnt the right size, so i had to flare the stock exhast pipe to around 2", so the pipe would fit.. All in all, im going back next week and getting a 2 1/4" catback system made. The guy at a local muffler shop told me he could do it on the side for 150$ with install, and installing the muffler.. \
\I also wanted to buy a k&n drop in filter, but they dont make it right now. One froma cavalier will not fit because they are different shapes..
