I agree completely, I don't know what compells people to buy that color.
Im curious how the power is on the VVT motor however, may have to test drive sometime this week.
I can hear it now however, people going " I smoked an SS last night " when it was one of these and not the SS/SC.
The wheels are 17's and polished and the interior isn't as nice.
I have to say the STOCK wing on the base SS looks better!
actually i like the rear look on the SS better than the SS s/c , but the front SS s/c bumper looks better , i also like the polished/chrome 17"s alot better than the 18's
I do like the edition of the GM brand badge.
LOL, MI finally had to go to a 7 character license plate. I saw one out here in Cali and was like WTF.
the ss coupe looks better...the only thing exterior wise that it lacks is a valance.

Where's the huge spoiler that GM originally advertised with the SC SS? Isn't that standard?

In my basement gathering dust until the first bidder.
its standard on the SS S/C model , the SS has the low spoiler standard
BTW, here's an interior shot of the SS Sedan with standard 5 speed.
You can see that leather is an option in the SS, and the gauges are white.
The rest of the details you can see in the 2006 product guide that GM FINALLY released today:

Did anybody notice the rpm rating on the SS? Its rated at 6750. Higher than the SS s/c. Hmmm

everything looks good except for the little 'cobalt' logo and the huge 'SS' logo next to it, less it better at least in my opionion. I wish I could get back into new cars...

I agree 100% man, less is more with any Cobalt trunk as far as badges are concerned. Looks much cleaner without them in my opinion.
i would have bought ur ss wing if i wasnt broke right now
I love the car both ways that is why I am ordering a blue one in April for my wife so it will be an automatic and just an SS but we are having the supercharger put in when it is av. for the 2.4 ecotec. that should be around 240 hp that is what the gm tec said.
