I've been searching the web, but there is SO MUCH to wade through when you're talking about Silverado's, it's hard to get to the good stuff. Anyone have any good links to some worthy forums or websites?
I bought the Silverado a couple of weeks ago and already have a straight pipe exhaust, and removed the mesh in front of the MAF. I'm looking for either more easy-HP options or info so I can decide on the first expensive one.
My only for-sure next step is a K&N full setup or equivalent. After that, it's all about HP-per-dollar.

chevy truck world?
its same format as ford truck world an theres a lot of smart ppl lol...i dunno is there a gmc truck world lol i know there is a general site truck world...
what year...give me some details i can help you
www.gmfullsize.com
not sure on the year you have, but if its a 99+ get a Nelson tune, 500$ and free reprogramming when you upgrade your truck. also if its a 99+ you can always go with the detroit speedworks turbo kit, $5000 base price.
Congrats on your truck. You will enjoy it. They are pretty reliable for the most part. I stop by the gmfullsize site every once n awhile. Hope to see it soon
Sorry it's a '05. Thanks for the links so far. They are pretty cool.
I was actually looking at a Whipple Supercharger with intercooler. They are local to me and I can get it for $3200, plus it's CARB legal. Being in Cali, that's important
I already stopped by
http://performancetrucks.net/forums/ and saw CodeRedZ24 posting pictures there, too. What a pic whore lol j/k

and i belive , LS1speed , or ls1 , also have subsites for the trucks
shame you gotta deal with carb , cause i could get you a set of long tube headers for your truck
you still got both cavs ???
Oh yeah I still have both my Cavs. The truck is mainly for towing and family outings (kids are outgrowing the Cavs in a hurry). We'll be driving the Cavs to work and back...you know 30 miles per gallon is a lot better than the 14.3 I'm getting out of the Silverado right now.

dunno if chevy already started using the efans on the 05's but i know on the 06's they will be standard....but yea efans free up a lot of power and get you better mileage...
