Wow, that is a different dash, are all the new civics going to have a similar interior??? I think the coupe is going to rock...

I think it is sweet, a lot better than a cobalt

I love everything about it except the Mercury Sable'esqe looking grille. Trip out that the wing is formed in the hatch glass. It's way cool, and yes much cooler than the plain vanilla wraper Cobalt. The new civc will be awesome.....assuming they don't sell them here with that grille.

is the hatch in the back the "5th door"? I also agree a 2 door version would probably look much better, especially the 2 door concept I saw a while ago of the Si.

Call me crazy, but I think with an aftermarket hood, front bumper, and rear bumper that this new honda could look quite good. Im going to hold judgement until I see one fixed up.

that reminds me of a certain Mercedes hatchback.

I don't find any angle of it the least bit attractive. From the front it looks like a speed rail car or something that belongs on a track. From the back it looks super econo, the shape screams CHEAP to me. I don't like the curve of the hood to the roof, the shape of the exhaust, how stubby it looks overall, the light bars in the front or back, the wing, the interior... i don't like one single thing on it.

Wow they are definitely getting edgy with these new designs. Usually Honda is pretty conservative with their exterior and interior styling, but lately they have been changing their ways - and it all started with the POS Ridgeline.

As for the new Civic, if the U.S. version of the Civic looks anything like that, expect a huge drop in annual sales. People buy Civic's for commuting and efficiency, most are going to be turned off the the controversial 9and very odd) styling.

Interior wise its also very strange. The steering wheels, gauges, pedals, and center stack look attractive and functional, but the gearshift and crooked heads-up display thing just look like trash. The Civic has always been about simplicity and economy, why try and give it a BMW i-Drive dash and ugly features?? It just doesn't make sense.

The side profile of the car does look decent, however. Looks like a modern interpretation of the "legendary" :cough:cough: CRX. I can see it now, 15 years down the road kids will be ricing these things out like crazy

The front end looks like something off of a subway, as {I]stargrrrl said. The rear is acceptable for a Honda, but the 3/4 view just looks awkward. Hopefully the sedan and coupe version won't be so controversial, because with a few tweaks Honda could easily make this car look pretty good.
