I was thinking of buying a 300hp '91 Talon TSi, but then I found out it was FWD, so I passed on it. They can still be fast, though.

Here's the pics. Sorry it took so long. Its a 1991 Eclipse Turbo FWD.
Front, paint is faded in the usual spots. Hood, fenders, little on the top.

Almost brand new ricer muffler, but it does have 3" piping from the cat back. Next thing i'll do if I keep it is a 3" downpipe.
Eagle Talon rims, no curb rash really good shape. The tires are brand new. Less then 300 miles on them. Got a receipt and it was just over 400 bux mounted and balanced for them.
Dirty ass interrior. Defineatley need to put some racing seats in. Just to get rid of those seats.

Dirty ass engine bay. Actually its just really dusty. Thats pretty easy to clean though.
Tiny little turbo, isn't it cute. Its freshly rebuilt. No shaft play what so ever. Too bad I wont be using that.

The guy said its vented to the atomsphere to I quote "make that cool woosh sound" but I dont understand how. ANyone who knows DSM's knows that the MAFS compensates for that air by dumping in fuel. So if you lose that air you are running rich as hell because it still sends the same amount of fuel. You can make them vent to the atomsphere but it takes some special crap i'm unsure on. He said it ran fine though. We'll see.
So, I got the car. Battery was toast. I put one I had in it. Tried to start it and nothing but a click click. So I checked the grounds and power. Still the same. So I pulled the starter took it to auto zone and had it bench tested. Starter is bad. So on payday gonna pick one up. Then we'll see where were at from there.
Damn that cars in rough shape.. I hope you didn't pay anymore than 500$ for it?
