Went to dealer today and fell in love with a SS Cobalt and the salesman told me theres no employee discount offered on the Cobalts. Is it only with certain models of chevys that the discount is available with?? Cause i want one damnit lol
Well I just checked Chevrolet.com, and got a discounted price ona cobalt ss supercharged. So the salesman is full of @!#$.

in the beginning, i think caddys, corvettes, and cobalts were excluded. they might have changed it though for this second time around.

I bought my Cobalt June 16th before they extended the discount and I got the employee discount on it. Mine is an LS but I don't think that would make a difference if it was an LS or SS... I think he just wants to screw you over...
around my area the cobalts have been sold with the gm employee pricing
since the start of the program
Corvettes, GTOs and CTSs were teh only exclusions....your salesman is fuking with u...

i work at a dealer the only car excluded is the corvette. corvettes hardly ever get a discount. the only reason your dealer said that is cause they know they can full price for the cobalt ss. its bs tho find a dealer who wants to sell cars and you'll get the discount price. at my dealership the ss does have the employee discount but they tried
to hit people up with a bs destination charge. there is no such thing as a destination
on any car so dont fall for that either. the customer didnt fall for the destination charge
at my dealer they went else where and got the same car for a grand less and my work still has there yellow ss sitting there. shop around you'll find one. good luck

I know gtos and vettes arent included. Go to another dealer, get a quote for one, or print on online and take it them. Tell them to meet it or beat it or you will go somewhere else.
Actually, believe it or not....not ALL GM dealers are particpating in the discount program. and they don't have to either, so if they are not find one that is. Our Chevy, saturn, and Caddy dealers in my town are NOT following the program except the Pontiac dealer...it's owned by another company. Seriously there are alot of dealers that opted not to go with the discount program.

also he could be looking at an 06 cobalt which isnt included because its an 06. Only 05's are part of the discount.
