in the not to distant future i'm thinking of starting a new project car.

i want to put a 4.3 v6 in a pontiac fiero and turbo it.

anyone have any info on turboed 4.3?

Find a wrecked Syclone or Typhoon and your in business. If they can sove a Northstar V-8 in a Fiero, a 4.3 should fit.

That's an awfully heavy motor for that size and weight of car. I'd go with either the Aurora 4.0 or Caddy's Northstar version of the same motor or Olds 3.5L ohc v6.

People cram V8's into Fieros all the time... why would a V6 be too heavy?

Iron Block and Heads. Aluminum Block and heads weigh less and wouldn't negate the handling and performance as much.

How do the head bolts compare from a supercharged 3.8 and a 4.3? I wonder if you could plop a supercharger setup from a 3.8 on the vortec.. Just thinking about what to do w/ all the junk in my garage lol.
