I hear you, but he didn't do it on purpose, so it can easily be forgiven. That's what insurance is for; the deductible is 100$.

I appreciate it too! Thank you.
True! At least you guys walked away ok. The car can always be fixed.
Totally

Now the hassle of fixing it up.
Glad you are ok.

Its not his friends fault he was driving too fast for the weather conditions....

AW man that is horrible, but I guarantee you will never drive that fast in the rain again.
Driving the posted speed limit in the rain should definitley be addressed in driving school. You shouldnt do it!
I know most people do it all the time, but the risk of this kinda thing happening is so much higher you should just avoid it altogether.
Just so you know I'm not busting on you for no good reason, I did the same thing in the cav. 65mph in the rain, hit a little puddle, tapped the center barrier, sent me spinning, ended up dragging the left side of the car BACKWARD on the right side wall of the highway. It wasnt pretty. Hopefully the insurance isnt too harsh on you. Still sucks this happened.

That sucks for The Goat, but at least you and your buddy are ok. It could have been a lot worse. I have also learned that these cars are no joke in anything less than perfect conditions. I bought a truck so I would never have to drive mine in any kind of precipitation, just because I don't feel comfortable (buying mine and then having an 8" snowstorm the next day and having no choice but to drive it kind of scarred me
)

Well I got that part when I learned it over 6 years ago. I guess they failed to teach what to do when a friend accidently yanks the e-brake when you're turning in the rain.

I dont really think I need anyone busting on me right now, reason or not
(no offense). I felt the only thing I did wrong was switch lanes at the wrong time.
mistakes happen, you live and learn. glad you are ok though
sorry to hear....hope all gets worked out for the best in the end
glad your good to go though...no injuries=goodness
Two wrongs don't make a right. Unless you're Chuck Norris.
Then two wrongs make a roundhouse kick to the face.
thats what you get for driving like a dunbass in the rain

Xtreme SRT4 - don't be lazy, try reading the whole post.
i put up the brakes as kinda a joke forgot the LOL
but the exhaust , figured it might help out , but i kinda figured youd rather spend the money on after market
but all depends on your ins company , and the shop doing the work
place a friend had work done , wouldnt release his car with out the bumper arrowhead on his sunfire , a stupid little emblem , LOL
sucks that it happened though
Sucks to wreck a new car. What part of I-64 where you on? I live in VA Beach.
New sig in the works
Glad to see you're ok, but if it makes you feel any better I totalled my Sunfire on the Jersey Turnpike (just rained before the accident) and I'm only 22 so I'm waiting to see how far the insurance company is going to stick it up my arse too. I got a ticket for careless driving because I was trying to read a caution sign that was SUPPOSED to say "caution: congestion ahead" right before I rearended 3 cars.
^^^ Glad you are ok too.
