I've been a JBO member for YEARS. Hardly ever posted and didn't do much to the two sunfires I've owned since '98. I wasn't rolling in it, so I only did a few simple mods to both.

Anyway, just wanted you guys to check out the '67 camaro I picked up a week ago.

Though I would get some of your opinions on how to build it up. I don't have the money for a big tire pro street or anything, so don't go there.

been there done that mine was a 72 firebird took 8 years to get it the way i liked it.
then i got tired of it and sold it. i'd say go with the restified look thats preety hot right
now. basicly keep the outside nice and stock looking but but with some 18 or 19 inch rims. try to find a wrecked late model camaro or firebird and swap in its engine and trans. that way if in the future you want an intercooled supercharger its no big deal.
but the best piece of advice i can gaive you is make sure it has a.c. in it. anybody can build a car with a chevy small block in it but its very nice to be able to cruise around in
the summer without sweating to death.

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

Nice,

My first car was a 1967 RS/SS camaro. (hideaway headlights). I had it completely done with over 450 hp, then it got stolen and completely stripped.

I've always loved the lines of that car, it's truly a sweet ride when done well. Enjoy it, take your time and build her right!!
