I was wondering, when, and on what car, was the first time you heard a BOV used.
Mine was up in Bloomington, sitting in my mom's expedition at a stop light, after picking up some krispy kremes, at about 10 at night, a 1st gen eclipse went up against a dodge caravan
the funny thing was, the caravan had it for a good 2 seconds, until the eclipse shifted, and then, woosh, BOV, it was loud. Any one else?
My buddies 97 Integra GSR, he just got his turbo setup and kept driving around the school parking lot shifting and stuff. It wasnt a loud BOV though. Just a whooosh noise.

a silver VW gulf 1.8T that drives down my street practically every day. and every day its vrooom pssshhh, vroooooom pssshhhh. its almost like he's trying to show it off. sounds pretty nice too

A guy in my school's car show started his (parents') WRX to rev it and show off the BOV. Then a guy decided to be funny, and rev his old ranger. I got in my 'stang, revved it a bit, and laughed as the crowds from the WRX and the Monte with hydraulics came to check my car out.
It was a good day.
my first experience with a bov was when i got to drive my 1g dsm for the first time. and it was running a hell of allot of boost (bcs acting up) and i was able to bottom out the back end in a hard second shift. vroooooooooooom pssssssssh bang! screeeeech vroooooooooom psssssssssh. it was freakin awesome!

no my buddy had a gsx eclipse that was redone and had a hks bov. that thing was loud
99 spyder gst....no clue it was turbo. My buddy bought it and debadged it before i got to see it. I asked for a ride...were cruising slow and all of a sudden i just suck back into my seat and WHOOOOSSHH.. lol surprised the @!#$ out of me. Thats got some upgrades done and the blow off valve was loud as @!#$..lol
hmmm, it is hard to remember the first time I experience the spine tickeling, panty wetting sound of a BOV. I think it was when my friend finished up on his 1990 Laser years and years ago.

about 7 years ago, friend of mine from school had a lightly modded 2nd gen eclipse gsx. Just like Roscoe, i had no idea it was turbo'd except for that choppy exhaust note, but i didn't think much of it...actually back then i really didn't know any better haha. But dam that bov sounded good
First one i heard was a grand am GT..i was sitting at a stoplight at wal mart and he was going through the intersection at about 70 mph..shifted and psssssssssh...it scared the $%&# out of my cause i wasnt paying attention
at around 3:00 am I saw a 350+hp twin turbo RX-7 getting on it with so one else in sight. It was nice and quite and all I heard was vrrooomm pssshhhh vroomm vroomm pssshhhh.

First time for me was in my friends 1987 Turbo Supra, he has a plain ol, Bosch BOV, but as soon as he puts in his TRUST IC then he'll have an A'PEXi Twin Chamber BOV which is mounted on his new IC piping. Its quite a nice car. The only annoying thing about it is that he is running open downpipe while he gets his exhaust custom made but other than that he's running a healthy does of 10/11psi. Lets, just say the "homeboy's" in the red probe we saw the other night defintely did not know what they were getting themselves into, lol. The other funny thing about the probe was that it wasn't even the GT V6 model, just the little old 4-cyl, 118HP motor.

Eclipse. Loudest one I have ever heard.
