i know that it's basically the same engine and tranny..but theirs slight adjustments to the vettes engine..anybody know what they are????

According to GM there is, but the F-bodies, Vettes and GTOs dyno about the same to the rear wheels.

I remember reading about the differences but the few come to ind is the Vettes has 350hp ( due to true dual) while the F bodys were around 345hp due to the y pipe set up. The Vettes have IRS and F bodys have a 10 bolt. Also Different throttle body (ETC), different exhaust manifolds, no EGR (97-00), and supposedly and ever so slightly different cam (to make up for lack of EGR).

Basically the same cars ,F bodys a 4 seater and half the price of the Vette while the the Vetts a two seater and twice the price. I'd say thats the biggest difference in the two cars.
