That Charger is pretty sick looking. I remember seeing pictures of it in the background when you use to post pics of your Sunfire progress.
Car looks nice, your Dad has some good taste.
Have a good one,
Justin
Nope you can tell by the Valve covers it isn't a Hemi, they're too narrow. IIRC it has the 440 Max Wedge in it. Gotta love an old Mopar those things are awesome

Yea its a 440... It has a lot of stuff done to the engine... I cant remember to much what is done... my dad has all the paperwork somewere. I know it was on the dyno at pulled 638 whp. so its not bad at all and will take a hemi... That was his first choice engine but couldent find a decent one. I took it for a drive around the block and the power is just insane and shifted at 4,000 rpm and it takes off like no other. I thought my moms TA was fast and its a POS lol. My parents are the coolest.

hahahahahaha
On subject of the charger...440's are pretty common....however it looks nice. I'm just not a mopar fan, but, still nice ride, I can respect a car that has paint
440's are easier to maintain than the hemihead 426's. Another way to tell if it's a hemi is if the plugwires are on top of the valve covers, similar to many DOHC heads. Tell your pop I'm very jealous and I dig the car completely... looks like Plum Crazy with S/S Cragars? Very nice combo.
I also like the plate frame.

thats just PLUM CRAZY !!!!!!!
the mopar guys should get that comment , LOL
car looks sweet , your dad did a sweet job !!
allthough i hate the way the mopar big blocks spark plug wiring looks , ive never seen 1 that looked decent
and i take your dad has a purple heart also , because of the plate ? which oddly looks pretty sweet the way it matches the car
Should be black.... every car should be black.... whose dad has the green 68(?) stang..., black charger + green stang = bullit.
But i really reeally like that/those cars
(uh sig?)
isn't plum crazy a color???
Yep.

That really sweet looking, and I think the colour works on that car.

Bullitt = one of the greatest movies ever. Followed closely by the original Gone in 60 Seconds. Both have the most excellent chase scenes.
05 Sunfire, Ecotec, 5 speed, Electric Blue
all it needs is a few pink triangles and it will be sweet as hell

the 440 isnt a MAX WEDGE , the only motors that were max wedge are the 413 and 426 , from the early 60's , my friends dad had a 63 super stock polara , it ran 11.1-11.0 on its stock tires and 10.8-10.9 on the white wall slicks
the rest of the mopar motors are considered wedge motors
and yes , PLUM CRAZY is the paint color as chrysler called it

Well, thank you for that, I've only heard the 440 referred to as either a 440 or 440 Max Wedge. Nice to know that it wasn't.
