Yea so I've had my kit painted for a couple of weeks....
I was on my way back from a town nearby...
Going about 75 or 80...went around a corner to find a huge 18 wheeler tire in the middle of the road - I couldn't swerve left - I would have went off the edge...I couldnt swerve right because of 2 cars next to me so...
(sorry about the pictures... Batteries were dead for the digi...so I used my phone)
Damn this sux...
Bumper is already in the shop....
Gonna get it fixed for $100 ... Can't beat that (Thanx to my Carclub for the hookup)
After I get it back...here's my plans:
Here's a picture of the billet grille I just ordered off of ebay...Custom install!
HOPEFULLY it will be on when I get the bumper back on before NEXT weekend....
I'll keep you guys posted...

Didn't you just get it painted too?
You know you can make the city pay for that in just about every state? Its their responsibility to keep the roads driveable. Thats why we pay taxes. If you're @!#$ up your car because of something in the road....doesn't seem to driveable to me.
^ Only within reasonable circumstances. The city could never afford to patrol every square foot of the highway at all hours of the day and night. A claim against debris on the road not due to a construction zone or other maintenance issue would never hold up. The city/county cannot be held responsible for things like blown tires, dead animals, and other things like stuff blowing or falling off vehicles. The best chance you would have would be to go after the trucking company that the tire fell off of.

dammmmmmmmn, that sucks to see. Glad you are getting it fixed rather quickly. I am digging the grill.
Have a good one,
Justin
Suck, atleast it's a rather cheap fix. 75 - 80 around a corner = not to smart either.

Why do I have a feeling this 75-80 MPH you were doing was NOT on a highway with that speed limit?
speed is 70...but the flow of traffic is usually 75-80... yea @!#$ happens...glad it wasn't worse!...Should get the bumper back real soon!
