This is my g/f's dad's Nova. It's completely restored from the ground up. The motor is a big block 502 (I think) it's bored out to like 528 or something and was Dynoed on a motor dyno at 702 HP. The SC is Vortech and is set to 7 pounds. Rumor is it makes 100 HP per PSI of boost so that puts him right around 1000 HP to the wheels. He's got a few more things to put together (ie)..... Dash and Gauges and stuff. Im still not sure about the hood, the intake manifold for the SC wont clear the stock hood, im not sure if he has a cowl hood or not. Anyways I thought some of you GM freaks would enjoy this, it's one sweet car and sound even better that it looks. (BTW) That's a 10K Viper Blue paint job.

If 100 per pound thatd be about 1402 HP which i doubt, maybe 40-50 per psi or something
Like I said the motor was on a motor dyno which is not at the wheels and YES it does make about 100 per PSI up to 6 psi then it drops a little. So, the motor should be around 100 horse counting in the lose of power throught the drivetrain and what not. Plus even if it did only make 50 or whatever it would still be around 100 Horse, so it doesn't really matter cause it's still sweet as hell. I will post up the dyno results once he get's it all done and dynoed.
As for the fake disk breaks , I agree, but they are to reduce break dust since he does have 4 wheel disk's.

Yeah, when I first saw the APC boxes (fake break things) I about smacked him, but to be honest they look pretty good in person. It compliments all the chrome pretty well. Too bad im leaving for vacation the day he actually starts drining the thing.

it's not too hard to get a 502 to push 1000hp either..it's alot easier on race gas, but meh, still do-able either way

Oh, and it was released from the garage today...and a freaking HONDA reved their engine at a red light and tried to race. lol. The car went sideways when it took off, and it blew the honda in the dust.
