so i didn't get MANY pics, but the ones i did get were pretty cool...hope you guys enjoy.
we got there Thursday night, and didn't do much since we were tired...so we started out Friday morning. it rained all day friday...pretty sucky, but i did get pics of one car:
yep, you guessed it, that's a
now Saturday rolled around, and MAN was it beautiful out...the sun was shining, and there was almost no wind - pretty surprising for an island. we hit up the car show at the inlet(the end of the island). there were oodles of Camaros, Chevelles, and old Malibus...so i kept my pics to the stuff that really struck me.
on the way TO the inlet, i snapped these two:
HOLYCRAP IT'S A YENKO!!
how's THIS for a 'Cuda front end?
i wish my camera could take sound clips...the superchargers some of these guys had were CRAZY loud. in some cases, you could hear the blowers before you heard the cars!
i went a little corvette happy:
.
i'm really not sure WHY they did this:
my dream mustang(the full car shot didn't come out
):
Bohemian Party Vessel!
it's great seeing our local beer brewers represented so wonderfully as in a Natty Boh bus
old Datsun Z car(i think it's a 280Z):
best 2 pics of the day...
Mike with the Geico gecko...he's got one just like him tattooed on his arm
and HOLYCRAP IT'S ME! in a 61 tbird. the owners were really cool...both husband and wife did the work on it.
it was an amazing trip for just a couple of days, and i'm GOING BACK NEXT YEAR(hopefully with Scruf if he's able to get the time off again)!! if anyone wants to join us, i'll be making plans crazy early and posting up here as early as i did this year.
dammmmniiiit, I knew I should of went down this weekend. The cars look good and it seemed like a decent turnout.
Have a good one,
Justin
there were SO MANY cars there, that i couldn't dream of taking pics of every one.
next year, dude!! screw the fall show, and go next spring!
did you hit any of the stuff yesterday? we left early yesterday...we figured parking would be dumb, and didn't want to deal with it.
good pics, by the way
na i ended up leaving real late sat night, got forced to work yesterday so i had to be home
that sucks.
at least you got to enjoy a little of the weekend
man i was wondering why i saw so many sweet cars driving towards MD when I was on my way up to SEMA. should have stopped by and took some picks. Nice pics guys. Maybe next year I can hit up both.
Does this show, or one similar happen twice a year? The fiance and i accidently found one at the inlet when we were down in OC for our anniversary in November two years ago.
yea there is a few cruises, biggest ones are may and september but i think they have one mid-summer

if you watch the North East forum close to the beginning of next year i'll probably post up info about it...definitely come down and check it out!
Susan - this is THE big cruise-in. the fall one isn't as popular, and i don't know anything about the summer one.

I went down to OC one time, and didn't realize they had the corvette festival.. and they drove all the corvettes down the boardwalk.. it was cool to watch them peel out on the boardwalk
Don't worry. I am one of the few that shares that same love for the 2nd Gen. Camaros. And are you sure that was a true Yenko? Alot of people do clones, hardly see any true yenkos around, or did you not get close enough to it?
Did you see any nice 3rd gen camaros there?
the Yenko was real...numbers matching...all that jazz.
yeah, there were a few nice ones there, i just didn't take pics...heh
