I seen the ALMS series run this weekend at mid ohio..I worked there saturday, and called off work sunday to enjoy the event haha.

I had a Carrera GT pass by us..but the camera wouldn't turn on fast enough, I wanted a pic of it SOOOO bad.

They're effing LOUD. Way louder then the Saleen S7, GT1 series...ANYTHING lol. You always hear high revving smaller motors, and then you heard this loud badass sounding V8...that meant the vettes were coming around the corner lol.
You lucky sob. I had to watch it on TV since the Flu bug bit me last week
. The tailpipe on that Viper sure looks funky
. That was a great race. I'm not positive but I think the one Vette driver called the other one f****er over the radio after the pit stop blocking maneuver in the last few minutes of the race

I left for the last part of the race, cuz it was about to rain, and my friend had to go to work anyways. Those vettes never hardly broke apart...best team effort IMO

Ya those C6-Rs are loud as hell, the only ones that are louder are Panoz, were they racing there?

I made it out there on Sunday, popped open the first beer at about 9:00...haha. To bad it wasn't a little sunnier, would have made for the perfect day. You planning on heading out to the SCCA regionals 6/2-3?
I dunno, I think the C6R was louder then the Panoz...but it's hard to tell cuz the vettes were always near each other, the Panoz didn't stick together, and I only got to hear one of those at a time lol. I didn't take my camera or I woulda had 10 pics of the C6R alone lol

You are so lucky. I watched most of the race at home, the last hour in particular was definately one to watch. It's too bad I didn't catch the whole thing. It's the first LeMans race I've been able to catch AT ALL in probably a year or so...man I miss it. The greatest racing, in my opinion, of all of them.
