Brett (RKSport 2003) and I went out driving today and we played around a little. We lined up at a light - The light turned green and Brett got happy and let the clutch go a little to much so he sat there and spun the hole time through first so i was ahead by about a car and it stayed that way until 80-85. Then we went from a 40 roll and it was dead even.
Brett also had one passanger, i had none. So once he practices launches we'll have to get a video up for you guys.

cool cool
sounds like a good time....just be careful
i wanna see a video when ya get it...!
Two wrongs don't make a right. Unless you're Chuck Norris.
Then two wrongs make a roundhouse kick to the face.
Adam I still won the first race to the quarter, your forgot about your missed 3rd shifts!
From second gear roll these cars are DEAD even, and Adam's redline as well as my SS are both bone stock as of now.
However I know the SS has super heavy wheels compared to the Ion, they need to go.
I need to get my dad to get ahold of a limited slip for me ASAP, this car NEEDS one.
Both cars never seem to amaze me however, GM has made a couple of super fun cars to drive for the price.
I've got it down now Adam, half throttle through first (which is hard in a race! LOL) 2,3, 4, all full throttle.
When we do make vids however it will be at the track, the safe way.
can't wait!
But i am bringing a camera to the bbq

What wheels do you think would be good for the SS?
i'd say..something with a thin 5 spoke..and of course..Lightweight!!
Konig Helium. 17" weigh like 16.22 pounds. no info for 19" but I'm sure theyre relatively light as well.
2000 2200 Cavalier: 9/14/2000--10/23/2006
2007 G85 SS S/C: 10/23/2006--Present
Vote for me at
Motortopia.com! Thanks!
Of course a 5 spoke LOL...those konig's are nice....I think I want to stay with a 18" wheel that is lightweight, smoked or black in color....

Exactly what Im doing. 18's black/gunmetal with polished lip and a good offset.
If you click the link I posted earlier in the post to adam you will see a wheel GM is releasing a new 5 spoke forged wheel that looks better than the stock wheel and weights ALOT less. Not much is know yet but worth checking out.
