cool man. My brother sold his 96 tsi awd 2 months after he dumped $20,000 into it. He bought a 97 mustang GT. Right away he bought a Paxton novi 1000 supercharger, cobra R hood, cobra rims, saleen s281 wing, leather racing seats, full exhaust, h pipe w/no cats, underdrive pulleys, and a bunch of small stuff. I wish i had the money for your tsi awd. I'd love it.

Word don't get me wrong I love Mustangs I own one! But you went from a boosted DSM to easily one of the crappiest v8 Mustangs in the last 15 years. (heads totally suck on the 96-98 GT's)
I hope you got big plans for it because you will need it to get to where your DSM was on the other hand alteast you won't be breaking parts every other day.

Well there are 2 reasons I want to sell it....
1 I got big big plans for the stang... twin turbos or supercharged.... so it will be fast
2 You are right about breaking things every day.... the more power I want the more I have to upgrade stuff... Right now that talon has soo many upgraded parts I should be good to like 500hp or so.... but than I have to start buying more parts. The Stang I can just slap stuff on and not worry for a long time.
I love my talon, I just taillied up what I had into it... it almost hurts... I have over 10K into the damn thing in new parts. But eah... like I said there is no replacement for displacement. And You cant beat the posy....

Nice stang man. Do the PI head/intake swap and then boost it if you like. The only problem is that when you do the head swap you raise compression which may be bad with boost.
If you keep your heads, get some cams, Vortech or Paxton s/c(stay away from Procharger), longtube headers, and get a good tune. You'll easily be near the 400 rwhp mark which is what you need to stay under with stock internals.

Hmmm.. wish I could afford it... I have always wanted an AWD turbo, even if it is older... but with the GTO payments and now that I just bought a truck, I don't think I could quite swing it.

Is anything wrong with the talon? All parts are working without flaws?
Everything works flawlessley.... I would only reccommend professional tuning on a dyno if you want to run high boost all day long... I have the car tuned pritty well for street and some strip use... but it could make much much more power thant it does right now it it where tuned properly

EAh, you are prob. right. I will miss it. But I wanted a change. A new challenge. I figure I got this Talon to run high 11's why not get the Stang to do it and have awesome amounts of torque too....

if you have questions about the stang, IM me. i've had several mod motored stangs & had about every part you can put on a stang at one point or another on one of the cars. btw- that is my favorite body style of newer stang, for what's it's worth

I'd get a reman longblock 99+(since it would come with PI heads) and throw that in along with some upgraded cams if I had $$ to throw around.
The heads/intake on the 99-04 stangs is pretty good that is why you don't see many aftermarket compaines offering upgrades.

lol...you bought one of the worst years as far as performance. I've seen plenty (more than 15) of them doing low 14's with a good amount of mods (as in every bolt on imagineable). I've even seen boosted ones that can get out of the 14's.

Hehehe.... I just checked into the Ford Performance Supercharger tonight for it.... that and exhaust makes 389hp and 400 ft/lb torque.... mahaha
