Thought you Jeep fans would like these. We made our first trail ride of the summer last friday, got some cool pics of the Jeep out in the woods

^^ This is my new favorite pic of my Jeep I love that chrome glinting and mud dripping lol

This guy gave us a surprise, needless to say everyone stayed in their jeeps going by.

A cool pic w/ all the dust

a bunch of pics of the other jeeps in the group

Looks like fun....

Here is my new toy / beater to keep the miles down on my GTO:

I haven't got to take it offroading yet... so far I have only used it to haul my ATV around.

Geez, with everyone around here getting some 4x4's I think we all need to get together to have a day out on the trails.

Have a good one,

That trail is on Flagpole Mountain in George Washington National Forest close to Harrisonburg VA, its nothing extreme mostly just logging trails we had a couple people with us who'd never been offroad so we wanted to break em in easy funny seeing Rubis with 30 day tags bouncing throught the mud lol, I'd be up for a 4x4 weekend, I don't know if you guys have heard of the Big Dogs offroad camp but that goes on like 15 miles from my house. there's a couple of XJ rallies I'm planning on going to down south this summer. Love those Yotas Rob, you can do a lot of stuff with those cheap a lot of guys around here run those.

Big Dogs sounds really familiar, I think a buddy of mine was mentioning it to me a while back.

We are actually planning an trip up and down the east coast for some four wheeling and camping sometime this summer or fall.

Usually around my area we hit up Rausch Creek http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/, Paragon Adventure Park http://www.paragonap.com/ and some other spots that we know of.

My friends dad is huge in four wheeling and usually goes out to Moab for his yearly off road trip but he wants to do a east coast trip instead so we are going to follow along for the wheeling and camping.

Have a good one,
Justin

RC and paragon aren't that far from me either, I've never been up to them but a bunch of my friends have. Big Dogs is like a huge 4x4 rally but they charge like 150 bucks to get in. There's hundreds of rigs up there. You can go on the same trails for 25 bucks a day if its not a rally weekend.

I would be down for trip! I want to go so bad but I have got to get rid of the cavy first

Question I am looking at TJs now. Would you all recommend an auto and a stick for wheeling?

I found a black 97 4.0 but it is auto. And priced about right for me

Any who, I hope to have the Jeep by early to mid june! And a lift a little after!

I would get the manual if you can. I find it better wheeling in a manual over an automatic. You could always get a hand throttle to act as a third leg if you get hung up / stall it on a hill and need to have the feet on the brake and clutch.

I was thinking about it, are you talking about the mini one in VA beach or the real Camp Jeep?
