I love the Suburban's/Tahoe's look and all, I think it is the best large SUV in the market and all.
But GM is riding on the notion the these will save GM and make large profits and recuperate market share. But... .
But look at gas prices, and the sales on the these behemoth has been slipping.
As we all know GM halted/stopped the program for the Zeta (RWD) platform, so they can dedicate on these.
I know it is camouflage, thanks to these we are loosing on something exceptional (RWD cars).
From the little bit of it we see, it will retain the attractiveness. GM tauting the best interior in the industry (large SUV). It will have all new LS2 derived V8s. Rumors have it at a base HP of 350. It will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto show in Jan 2006. To be on sale early 2006.
I just wish it it was a RWD car under all that vinyl.

oh wow, another oversized urban assault vehicle that will eat even more gas
these would save GM if gas prices had signs in the future of going back down.....but didnt bush just say earlier this week he wants a plan for the use of another energy source or vehicles by the end of next year? To me that sounds like gas prices are only going one way, and thats up from here
Haha, how the hell can you even tell what kind of car that is going to be? lol
And why don't these cars ever get pulled over by the cops? There's no license plate even showing......
ugly as hell

Real cars don't make power at the front wheels......

Words that you can't use in modding: Finished, Perfect, Cheap.
It's not going to get pulled over because it's probably on a closed track.. It probably doesn't even have a Serial number yet, so it wouldn't have insurance either.. Anyways, it's what the world needs right now, another gas guzzling SUV, to drive up the gas prices even more.. GM should be shot..
Dark blue 2002 Z24, 2.4 Ltr.
you can't be certain with the camo and all, but when i saw the pictures, i immediately thought of this: the chevy uplander
what is the point of all that vinyl on the suv?
2004 Nissan Maxima SE w/ Elite Pkg
2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe w/ Sport Pkg

the new truck rims are so ugly..
the truck market is still going up
and small and midsize cars going down
soo
what would be the logic of making more rwd cars?
yeah the grill looks more like the caddies than GMS or CHEVY
cause when i saw first i thought it was a caddie also , the front end is what screams caddie
either way , we need rwd cars not more trucks , let alone 1000 versions of the same dam truck
I hope they finally get around to putting the duramax in it, that would ease the pump prices a little. And they do drive camoflauged cars on public roads, I don't know how but they have temp tags on them, There's a road near me where GM does winter testing I guess. I've seen some of the new caddies covered in leather w/ all kinds of antennae on them. Its an interesting body style but its not like its a new car, Chevy has been making the suburbans since the '30s

damn you and your logic
But for how long though?
Do I smell history repeating it self? I.e. what happened to Chrysler Company in the 70's. If the trend continues, GM may follow in the footsteps. GM can may very well be the Chrysler mishap of the new millennium.
