All I can say is that im selling my cavy now. This thing is highly underated, they rate it at 205 hp but i would say it is around 225hp, and i know a thing or 2 about hp. The leather seats are awesome, the exhaust sounds rreal nice, engine is quiet when crusing, real comfortable ride, handles awesome even in the rain, im selling my sc z24 and buying a 2006 cobalt ss sc!

If that's your car in your sig, I think it looks better than a Cobalt SS.... plus it's faster.

i agree with Robz comment, i thought the car was alright when i drove it, the Cobalt SS i mean, but thats my personal opinion so take it as that.

dido
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
But is a cavalier as well built and designed as a cobalt?
I'd say go cobalt sans aero foil
You sure its not 217.31HP?

faster yes, look at all the other stuff he has, if he just had super charger, for supercharger, no P&P head, no pullies, none of that i think the ss would be quicker. also more refigned, and better handling. his car does look good, but the cobalt does look nice also and has alot of potential.

If you like the cobalt that much, you need to test drive more cars.
seeing ion redlines have the same engine and put what 205 or someting at the wheels with a intake and or exhast (some dude on this board with one did) its probably aroudn 205-215 range at the most.

Just think if Nik Ray put the same amount of money that he's put in to his Cavy in to a 06' Cobalt SS? Tthat, together with the modern styling, improved handling, sound system, and better material, is enough reason to get a Cobalt SS.
Good luck with the New catr dude....

Yeah but if he would put all that money into a Cobalt SS, he would have a $30,000+ Cobalt sitting in his driveway lol... he could have an STi.

yeah but he should be able to burn an sti after that much money
^but dont forget ur paying 30+k for a STI not just for its speed. ur paying for the suspension, speed, awd, fit n finish, re-sale value, and so on. gut the suspension, awd, etc etc etc outa the sti and u have a fast car but thats bout it.
its awd kills its power
motortrend and other have dynoed it at 228whp
speed?
the cobalt would be faster
Yeah but maybe you didnt think about what if i dont want an STI, just cuz everyone else loves them doesnt make them worth buying, my favorite cars are Cobalt SS, Cavy, RSX-S, 350Z, G35 and the new MAXIMA, those are the cars that i would consider buying.

That is a big difference in cars you would like to get! The Maxima's are really nice, but the G35 I would pick! Are you looking at the G35 sedan or coupe?
OMG go for the G35 coupe. You won't be disapointed.
