Whats the difference between the SE and the SH in the last generation preludes?
SH had a little better suspension. "SH" Sport Handling. Came with Honda's ATTS Active Torque Transfer System that gave more torque to the outside wheel on a hard corner. Sounds like some crappy type of LSD. I don't think it made too much of a difference. Both were in at 200hp and 156tq I believe.
On my buddies SH, the ATTS gives the car more of a tendency to oversteer as opposed to understeer. at least thats what he attributes it to. Almost feels like a RWD at times. However, in his opinion, he would have rather bought a different grade, since the Prelude SH will not accept an aftermarket LSD (and Oversteer can be better induced through adjusting sway bars).
yeah what they said. And if you ever mod it, it after i think 220 HP ( i may be wrong) the PCM cuts out the ATTS. So if you plan on moding it and getting over whatever that HP is, your better of sticking with a base model. Performance wise both models are the same. I have some suspension techniques sway bars and they helped a little bit. Id be willing to bet i could keep up with an SH through the turns.

the SH models came with ground effects, also
they are the same as the base ground effects i believe...just painted.

Yeah I would much rather have a base model over a SH.
